The effects continue 15 years after the introduction of the NMR pipe protector.

Verification of the red rust prevention effect of apartment water supply pipes: Introduction of a case study after more than 15 years since the implementation of the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" inside the piping!

In August 2001, we introduced the "NMR Pipe Protector" to the Co-op Nomura Minami Ishikiri condominium in Wakabayashi Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. After 15 years of implementation, an investigation into the deterioration of the piping was conducted. The investigation involved removing the water supply pipes on the secondary side of the elevated water tank and inside the residences, as well as the drainage pipes. It was evaluated that "there was almost no red rust due to internal deterioration of the water supply pipes, and there were no blockages; it was confirmed that the surface had turned black due to rust, and pipe rehabilitation had been carried out." The condominium's maintenance director stated during an interview, "Not only the water supply pipes but also the drainage pipes have been extended in their lifespan, and there are no plans for updates in the long-term repair plan." He added, "As the building ages, it will only become more financially challenging in the future, so the benefits of not having to update the water supply pipes are immeasurable." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

NMR pipe protector adopted by Buckingham Palace in the UK for preventing pipe rust.

The NMR pipe protector has been proven effective in preventing red rust on the air conditioning and hot water pipes at Buckingham Palace and has been adopted.

On January 12, 2007, in one of the six pump rooms located within Buckingham Palace, only one pump room supplying Her Majesty's room had the 'NMR Pipe Protector' installed for the air conditioning hot water piping and the hot water supply piping. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron ion concentration in the circulating hot water within the air conditioning hot water piping for Her Majesty's room was measured at 16.6 mg/L, indicating a high iron ion level and a significant presence of red rust within the piping. Subsequently, 24 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the hot water within the air conditioning hot water piping decreased to 0.455 mg/L. The piping was completely protected from red rust by the NMR Pipe Protector, and the lifespan of the piping was extended, which has been greatly appreciated by those associated with Buckingham Palace for security reasons. *Customer feedback (customer testimonials) and other PDF materials are available for free! *Please feel free to contact us first.

How can the lifespan of water supply pipes and air conditioning chilled and hot water pipes be extended to match the lifespan of the building?

It is possible to convert red rust to black rust without direct contact with the water inside the pipes, preventing red rust and leaks! The red rust prevention device for pipes, "NMR Pipe Protector."

To extend the lifespan of existing piping to match the lifespan of the building, if the red rust occurring inside the pipes can be converted to black rust without flushing it away, the lifespan of the pipes can be prolonged to that of the building. When extending the lifespan of pipes, methods such as pipe cleaning or sandblasting to remove red rust can damage the interior of the pipes, reducing their strength. With our internal red rust prevention device, the 'NMR Pipe Protector,' red rust can be converted to black rust without directly contacting the water inside the pipes. By utilizing NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance), it is possible to prevent the deterioration of red rust inside the pipes and even rehabilitate and strengthen the pipes. It is suitable for preventing red rust in water supply pipes (vinyl-lined steel pipes) and air conditioning hot and cold water pipes (galvanized steel pipes), as well as for the rehabilitation and strengthening of pipes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Pipe rust prevention, the British Museum has introduced NMR pipe protectors.

The British Museum prevents red rust in the air conditioning hot water pipes with the anti-rust device "NMR Pipe Protector" and verifies its pipe longevity effect.

The British Museum has undergone multiple renovations over the years, but the building is over 264 years old. It is an important museum that needs to continue to exist in the future, but the issue of building deterioration cannot be avoided. One of those issues was the concern of leaks due to the deterioration of the heating hot water piping from red rust. In March 2016, we verified whether the 'NMR Pipe Protector' is truly an effective measure against red rust in piping by installing one unit on the air conditioning hot water piping and conducting iron content tests in the same circulating hot water before and after installation. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water was very high due to red rust. Three weeks after installation, it measured 3.44 mg/L, and five weeks after installation, it dropped significantly to 0.2 mg/L, demonstrating the effectiveness of red rust prevention as it matched the drinking water standard of 0.2 mg/L. It has been recognized that if the NMR Pipe Protector continues to be used, the lifespan of the piping can be extended to match the lifespan of the building. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

To prevent pipe rust, the London City Hall has introduced NMR pipe protectors.

The London City Hall used the rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" to convert red rust in the hot water supply pipes to black rust, verifying the effectiveness of preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of the pipes.

The "NMR Pipe Protector" has garnered attention worldwide for its ability to solve the problem of red rust. Every morning, red water would come out from the hot water pipes in Guildhall, London. When we measured the iron content in the water, it was found to be 6.36 mg per liter, indicating significant red rust, which is considerably higher than the water quality standard of 0.2 mg per liter set by UK water regulations. Three weeks after installing the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water was measured at 0.015 mg per liter. This is a reduction to 1/400 of the iron content before installation, and further measurements taken seven weeks after installation showed a decrease to 0.007 mg per liter, which is less than half of the value three weeks after installation, proving that the red rust had transformed into insoluble black rust in the water. As a result of the drastic reduction in iron content, the red water was eliminated. The existing red rust was reduced to black rust, which strengthened the piping. As long as the building continues to exist, the piping can continue to be used. With the red rust problem in the hot water pipes of Guildhall, London resolved, a letter of recommendation was issued. *We are currently offering free PDF materials such as customer testimonials (customer recommendation letters)!

Pipe rust prevention: Buckingham Palace in the UK introduces NMR pipe protectors.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" protected the air conditioning and hot water piping in the area used by Her Majesty, where updating the piping was impossible due to safety concerns, from deterioration caused by red rust.

At that time, Buckingham Palace was using galvanized steel pipes for air conditioning hot water piping and hot water supply piping, but due to deterioration from red rust, partial updates to the piping were being carried out outside of Her Majesty's areas. The circulating hot water in these pipes installed for Queen Elizabeth's room had been reddish-brown from the beginning due to red rust. Therefore, to make this reddish-brown water clear and to prevent red rust, as well as to extend the life of the piping, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was introduced. In the hot water supply piping, the level was reduced from 2.8 mg/L before installation to below 0.018 mg/L, which is less than 1/100, after 24 days, proving its effectiveness in preventing red rust. Additionally, the color of the water became clear, and the NMR Pipe Protector demonstrated its high performance in preventing red rust without reservation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Pipe rust prevention, a UK five-star hotel introduces NMR pipe protectors.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" prevents red rust in air conditioning pipes, prevents leaks, and extends the lifespan of the pipes by 40 years.

At the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair, urgent measures were needed to address corrosion due to red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping. The chosen solution was the 'NMR Pipe Protector,' which can be implemented at less than one-tenth the cost and has a minimal environmental impact while preventing red rust early on. Before installation, the iron concentration in the circulating water of the air conditioning hot water piping showed significant deterioration due to red rust, with a very high value of 15.70 mg/l due to leaching of red rust. A re-inspection six weeks after installation revealed that the iron concentration had decreased to 0.16 mg/l, demonstrating that the amount of iron leached into the water had reduced to about one-hundredth of the previous level, confirming the effectiveness of red rust prevention. Thus, the water quality of the circulating water in the air conditioning hot water piping was restored to a completely acceptable level. One of the major reasons for choosing the NMR Pipe Protector is that it is a very eco-friendly red rust prevention device. It can rehabilitate old piping that has been in use for a long time, extending the lifespan of the building. Replacing the piping would result in significant CO2 emissions due to the disposal of the old pipes, so the NMR Pipe Protector, which allows for continued use of the old piping, has a very low environmental impact. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Pipe rust prevention: City, University of London introduces NMR Pipe Protector.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" can be installed externally on piping without the need for water outage work.

In 2013, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was adopted at City, University of London, a prestigious university in the UK. The air conditioning hot water pipes used SGP (galvanized steel pipes), which led to the leaching of red rust, causing the water to become brown and murky, and there were occurrences of leaks from the pipe joints. It was necessary to take measures against the deterioration of the red rust in the pipes as soon as possible. After the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the progression of red rust completely stopped in just two weeks. The iron content in the circulating water within the pipes, which was 3.41 mg/l before the introduction of the NMR Pipe Protector, remarkably decreased to 0.08 mg/l. Theoretically, over 75% of the existing red rust was reduced to black rust by the NMR Pipe Protector. This confirmed the effectiveness of red rust prevention. The black rust formed by the NMR Pipe Protector acts to protect iron from red rust corrosion, and furthermore, black rust is a solid and dense crystal that is 1/10 the volume of red rust, thereby strengthening the pipe's durability. Thanks to the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector, the air conditioning hot water pipes at City, University of London can now be used for over 40 years. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Prevention of red rust and water leakage in the hot water piping of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the UK.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel hot water piping.

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is a prestigious five-star hotel located in London. Due to the occurrence of red rust corrosion issues in the hot water supply piping (SGP) at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and concerns about leaks, two units of the red rust prevention and leak prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" PT-75DS were installed at the header section of the circulating hot water supply piping. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water within the hot water supply piping was 13.35 mg/l, indicating significant progression of red rust corrosion. Four weeks after installation, the iron content in the hot water supply piping decreased to 0.0043 mg/l, and further, five weeks after installation, it dropped to below 0.004 mg/l. This demonstrated that the progression of red rust in the hot water supply piping was completely halted by the NMR Pipe Protector, and the existing red rust transformed into insoluble black rust with a volume reduction to one-tenth. It has been verified that if the Mandarin Oriental Hotel continues to use the NMR Pipe Protector, all red rust in the hot water supply piping will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the piping replacement work, allowing the piping to be extended for the lifespan of the building. Naturally, leaks will be completely prevented thereafter.

Resolving the red rust and leakage issues in the water supply and hot water piping at the Marriott Hotel in the UK.

Case studies of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel water supply and hot water piping.

The Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel, part of the world's largest five-star hotel chain, the Marriott Group, was built in 1878 and has 160 rooms. Due to the use of galvanized steel pipes for the hot water and water supply plumbing in the Marriott Hotel, very high iron levels were detected: 6 mg/l from the hot water plumbing and 3.46 mg/l from the water supply plumbing before the installation of the NMR pipe protector. The deterioration of red rust in the pipes was serious, including the presence of red water, raising concerns about future leaks. To eliminate the red water from the water supply and hot water plumbing, prevent red rust deterioration, and extend the life of the pipes, NMR pipe protectors were installed in both the water supply and hot water plumbing. Thirteen days after installation, the hot water and water supply (nighttime stagnant water) samples taken first thing in the morning were both clear, and the iron levels in the water had dropped to 0.007 mg/l, completely eliminating the red water. The reduction in iron levels prevented the formation of new red rust, and it was proven that the existing red rust in the pipes had transformed into a non-soluble volume of 1/10 of inert black rust. As a result, the formation of new red rust in the pipes was prevented, and the transformation of existing red rust into black rust demonstrated the effectiveness of the NMR pipe protector in preventing red rust and extending the life of the plumbing.

Millennium Hotel in the UK resolves issues of red rust and water leakage in the air conditioning hot and cold water piping.

Case study of the introduction of NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the life of hotel water supply piping.

The Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is a historic building located in the heart of London, overlooking Grosvenor Square, which was once the residence of the Duchess of Kendal in the 18th century. To address the issues of red rust and leakage in the air conditioning hot water piping, the "NMR Pipe Protector," a rust prevention and pipe longevity device that does not require pipe removal or water shutdown during installation, was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content due to red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping was very high at 15.7 mg/l, indicating significant deterioration from red rust and raising concerns about leakage. To prevent this red rust and leakage, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was introduced. Six weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the test results for the air conditioning hot water showed a significant reduction in iron content to 0.157 mg/l, completely preventing new red rust in the air conditioning cold and hot water piping, and it was proven that the existing red rust had transformed into black rust, which is insoluble in water and has a volume one-tenth that of red rust. If the NMR Pipe Protector continues to be used, all red rust in the piping will transform into black rust, preventing external corrosion and leakage, thereby extending the lifespan of the building.
